the Israeli occupation authorities demolished a car wash, seized all its equipment in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, and installed a pilot checkpoint east of Jenin, and tightened its procedures at the Qalandiya checkpoint.

The director of the office of the Resistance of the Wall and Settlement Authority in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijieh, stated that the occupation forces stormed Umm Rukba, south of the town, and demolished a laundry belonging to Ahmed Abdel-Salam al-Sir, and seized all of its equipment, claiming that it was not licensed.

Breguet pointed out that the occupation had notified the citizen of the administrative demolition for a period of 96 hours last March.

It is noteworthy that the Umm Rukba area has been under attack for some time, by demolishing structures and notifying homes to stop building there.

In the city of Jenin, today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces installed a military roadblock near the tourist village of Haddad, to the east of the city.

Local sources said that the occupation forces arrested dozens of vehicles, checked the citizens’ cards, and interrogated them, which hindered their movements.

In the same context, the occupation forces have intensified their military presence on the outskirts of the city, its villages and towns.

The Qalandia checkpoint, to the north of occupied Jerusalem, witnessed strict procedures, which were checking the drivers’ identities, and searching cars leaving the city.

In the West Bank, there are more than 700 military barriers between the fixed and the pilot, which hinder the movement of citizens and the lives of travelers through them.

Most of these barriers are equipped with surveillance cameras, military towers, iron gates, manholes, parking lots, and special lanes to search cars and Palestinian citizens.

The Israeli military roadblocks were, and still are, a major obstacle and cause for the deterioration of the economic, social, health and humanitarian conditions of the Palestinians, and one of the fields in which the Israeli occupation authorities exercise their racism against the Palestinians.

And the occupation barriers of all kinds turned into traps, during which the occupation soldiers grab citizens through arrest, interrogation and humiliation.
