Palestinian associations specialized in prisoners affairs announced today, Monday, the death of the prisoner Saadi Al-Gharably (75 years old) from the Gaza Strip in the occupation prisons.
(Waed) Association of Prisoners and Editors said: The prisoner Saadi Al-Gharabally was martyred after a long struggle with cancer, and as a result of the deliberate medical negligence of the occupation authorities.
The Handala Center stated that Al-Gharabli, a prisoner, spent in the occupation prisons (26 years) and suffered from deliberate medical neglect by the occupation authorities.
Commenting on the martyr’s death, Hamas said: His death due to medical neglect exceeded the red lines in the systematic occupation policy against the prisoners in not providing the requirements of human life and health care for them.
A spokesman for the Hamas movement, Abd al-Latif al-Qanu`, said: The rise of the martyrs of the captive movement to 223 prisoners in the occupation prisons is a sign of the brutality of the occupation and stripping it of all human values, ethics and international norms in dealing with the prisoners.
He stressed that human rights, humanitarian and international institutions must break their silence, while Palestinian prisoners are exposed to them in the prisons of the occupation and from the death that threatens their lives in light of the ongoing medical neglect.
