Gaza-together- The Ministry of Health-Gaza Strip announced today, Saturday, the registration of 36 new cases of Coronavirus, after examining 1004 samples.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, spokesperson for Gaza health, said that a total of 257 injuries have been reported since last March, of which 182 are currently active, including “145 from the community and 37 returnees,” noting that the number of people recovered is 72, while the number of deaths is 3.

He stressed that the number of people present in the quarantine and isolation centers is 2,368, noting that the specialized medical teams are still conducting epidemiological investigations and following up on the contact map in the different regions.

He added: “The stage of containing the epidemic and breaking the episodes of its outbreak requires preventing movement, except for the most urgent necessity and in accordance with strict preventive measures.”

He stressed that hospitals provide their services to citizens in accordance with safety measures, and we have implemented a remote treatment program for medical consultations in all governorates.

The extension of the curfew
For his part, the spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior in Gaza announced the extension of the curfew for an additional 48 hours.
He said during a press conference that it had been decided to conduct a complete and complete separation between the provinces, and to prevent movement between them completely.
He added, “It has been decided to impose strict separation measures in the northern Gaza Strip, where the police forces and security services are now completely separating towns and camps in them,” stressing that more strict measures will be taken in the northern Gaza Strip.
He called on all citizens to tighten safety and prevention measures, stressing that the police and security agencies have begun to take legal measures against the violators of the procedures, and that they have decided to establish centers to detain violators in accordance with safety measures.
He revealed that today’s meeting with representatives of banks and the Monetary Authority to discuss the mechanism of paying salaries for all sectors, according to prevention and safety measures.
