While children lit candles as a message of peace to Lebanon, the homeland and the ancient people, the child Hala Faraj expressed in the words of a poem she gave in front of the participants, expressing the highest feelings of solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people, stressing that these words are a message of peace to children and women and to all the people of Lebanon, especially bereaved families.
In the same context, Nabil Diab, the Media Commissioner for the People’s Committee for Refugees – Jabalia Camp, indicated that the entire Palestinian people expresses their full solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people and rejects and denounces the barbaric attacks against Lebanon, its unity and national sovereignty, recalling in his words the courageous positions that Lebanon expressed it and stood and supported our national cause, its embrace of the Palestinian resistance, and made its cities and towns strongholds of the Palestine Liberation Organization, as these solidarity stances came in line with the directives of President Abu Mazen, as well as Dr. Ahmed Abu Huli, head of the Refugee Affairs Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization, to support our people in Brother Lebanon and stand by it to overcome its ordeal and heal its deep wounds in the conscience of every loyal patriot.
For his part, Mustafa al-Daqas, vice president of the Popular Committee for Refugees in Jabalia Camp, stressed in his speech that this stand is only a small part of giving back to the ancient Lebanese people, an expression of our people’s solidarity with it, and a tribute to the positions of our people, refugees in the Palestinian camps, who came to support Lebanon in its ordeal. Through blood donation campaigns, relief and volunteer campaigns, stressing the Palestinian people’s rejection of any aggression against brotherly Lebanon, and that such heinous attacks will not undermine the determination of the Palestinian people and that they are able to block the path before their enemies not to infringe on or affect its
national sovereignty .
