
was held after the Thursday noon prayer, the absentee prayer in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the spirit of the good remembrance of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the brotherly State of Kuwait, in a message of solidarity with the people of this good country and to commemorate the late and his historical stances, in which he sided with His nation’s issues and concerns, foremost of which are the issue of Islamic holy sites and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of Jerusalem, at the invitation of the Council of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places in Jerusalem.
The Director General of the Islamic Endowments Department, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said: Today we offer our condolences to ourselves and the sons of the sisterly Arab State of Kuwait for their great misfortune, asking God Almighty to bless the deceased with the mercy of his mercy and to choose for this good country the one who preserves the era of the deceased and the message upon which he lived and died.
The prayer was performed in the vicinity of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the presence of a group of the people of the Holy City and its scholars, a number of members of the Council of Islamic Endowments and senior employees of the Department of Islamic Endowments.
