A fishing boat was sunk at dawn today, Wednesday, at the port of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Zakaria Bakr, coordinator of the Fishermen’s Union in Gaza, told Ma’an that the fishing lighting boat belonging to the fisherman, Khalil Abdullah al-Najjar, was often sunk as a result of being shot by the occupation’s leaves.
He pointed out that the boat was recovered 4 miles west of the port of Rafah, and that resulted in damage to the body of the boat and the destruction of an electric generator and 20 searchlights.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli violations against fishermen continue on an almost daily basis.
