Abdel Nasser Farwana, a specialist in prisoners’ affairs, expressed that the Israeli occupation authorities have recently adopted one scenario and are proceeding according to it in dealing with the strike of the Palestinian detainee Maher al-Akhras, unconcerned about the harm that may befall his health even if this leads to his death ..!
Farwana said: “The scenario adopted by the occupation is that the detainee will continue his strike until the end of his administrative detention period on November 26th, which is 4 months, as determined by the occupation authorities, that they are keen to keep him alive and in pain, and to give him subsidies from time to time (forced feeding).” Without his knowledge, without his approval, and without knowing, so that he remains alive and released at the date set by the occupation, and not any other date that the mute detainee wanted and whoever stands next to him. His will, and in this way it seeks to present him as a negative example for all prisoners who think behind him, to go on hunger strike.
And he said: “In order not to reach that, and in order for the occupation authorities not to achieve their goal and the prison administration registers a (victory) for them, we and everyone must move with full force to thwart this scenario and push the occupation authorities to abandon this undeclared Israeli scenario and force them to deal positively with the al-Akhras strike.” End his arbitrary detention. “
He stressed that (95) days of hunger strike are enough to push us towards a serious search for tools and methods that are more pressure on international institutions and more annoying, anxious and painful to the occupation, inside and outside prisons, and let us designate tomorrow Friday as a day to save the life and health of the mute detainee and to win his case,
