
The Ministry of Interior and National Security, in Gaza, today, Thursday, issued a statement regarding measures to confront the Corona virus.

Following up on the epidemiological situation and measures to confront the Corona virus, and in light of the high numbers of recorded infections; The Ministry of Interior and National Security decided the following:
First: Imposing more stringent measures on homes that are subject to quarantine, and it is forbidden for anyone to leave these homes under all circumstances.
Second: Whoever violates the home quarantine procedures and leaves the house in any way, legal measures will be taken against him, which amount to imprisonment.
Third: It is forbidden to gather inside homes, and to hold condolences and weddings in large numbers, in violation of safety and prevention measures, and whoever violates this will be taken immediate measures against him.
Fourth: Tightening curfews after 8:00 pm, completely preventing movement, and closing all establishments and shops.
Fifth: The closure of mosques and schools in areas classified as red, and there is an increase in the number of injuries, as of tomorrow morning, Friday, and only general secondary schools are excluded.
Sixth: The areas classified in red are:
• North Gaza Governorate: Beit Hanoun, Jabalia Camp, Beit Lahia Project, Jabalia Al-Balad.
• Gaza Governorate: Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj, Jadeeda, Al-Turkman, Sheikh Radwan, Al-Nasr.
• Al Wusta: Block C and F in Nuseirat Camp.
• Khan Yunis Governorate: Al-Amal neighborhood.
Seventh: We affirm the commitment of citizens traveling in vehicles to preventive measures and wear the muzzle, noting that violating vehicles and their passengers will be seized.
Eighth: We renew our call to all citizens to adhere to preventive safety measures, including wearing a mask.
