The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, the registration of 12 deaths and 516 new cases of Coronavirus, after conducting a laboratory examination of 2,163 samples during the past twenty-four hours, which is equivalent to 24% of the examined samples.
In its daily report, the Ministry of Health confirmed 12 citizens as a result of infection with Corona inside the Ministry of Health hospitals, which raises the number of deaths to 283 deaths.
The Ministry of Health indicated that 630 cases had recovered, which brings the number of people recovering to 24,533 cases.
Gaza governorate recorded 204 injuries, Khan Yunis governorate 139 injuries, followed by North Governorate with 82 injuries, Al-Wusta Governorate with 40 injuries and finally Rafah 32 injuries.
The Ministry of Health stated that the total number of injured persons since last March reached 34,390, of which 9,574 were active cases.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that the total number of cases that need medical care in the hospital is 312, and the total of severe and critical cases is 203.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza expects a significant increase in injuries during the next two weeks, due to low temperatures.
