The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Saturday, that it has recorded five deaths and 584 new cases of Coronavirus, after conducting 2,204 laboratory tests during the past 24 hours.
In its daily report, the Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 5 citizens as a result of infection with the Coronavirus in the sector’s hospitals, bringing the number of deaths to 134 deaths.
And it indicated that 442 new cases of people infected with Coronavirus have recovered, bringing the total of those recovering to 13,768 cases.
The total cumulative of the injured was 24,395, while the total active cases were 10493.
Health confirmed that 364 cases need medical care. The total of severe and critical cases reached 154.
Today, in Gaza, a new phase of tightening measures aimed at curbing the spread of the Coronavirus began, which included closing schools, universities and kindergartens, in addition to mosques and weekly markets.
The restrictions include starting the curfew from six thirty in the evening instead of eight in the evening, provided that the shops close their doors at six o’clock.
