Head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, sent a letter to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
During the message, Haniyeh blessed the completion and success of the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia.
In his message, Haniyeh expressed his appreciation for the “Al-Ula” statement that ends “the crisis and disagreement between brothers, heals rift, strengthens cohesion and rapprochement between them, and pushes toward joint Arab action to achieve more development, integration and cooperation in all fields,” according to what the Hamas website reported.
Haniyeh expressed the movement’s sincere appreciation for the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve this achievement, which is a continuation of its historical role in embracing the nation’s causes, solidarity with it and defending it.
Haniyeh also sent a similar message to Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, appreciating his role in the success of the forty-first session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the achievement of Gulf reconciliation.
In his message, Haniyeh affirmed that Hamas sees this reconciliation as an important step in promoting joint action in favor of the Palestinian cause, in light of the challenges facing it from occupation, siege, Judaization, and the risks of liquidation, disappearance and termination.
