Gaza Ministry of Health calls on everyone over the age of 75 to receive the Corona vaccine

 The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip called on citizens who were over the age of 75, registered and unregistered on the Ministry of Health platform, to go to health centers to receive the Corona vaccine.

And confirmed the safety of the available vaccines and their efficacy in giving the necessary immunity to prevent disease.

Dr. Magdy Dahir, Director of Preventive Medicine at the Ministry of Health, explained that what vaccines arrived in the Gaza Strip reached 62 thousand doses, so more than 5700 people are vaccinated until Thursday evening, while the number of registered people on the Sahi platform exceeded 22 thousand people.

He said that health gives priority to the elderly and chronic patients, while the vaccine is currently given to priority groups over the age of 60 years.
