The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Wednesday, that it had recorded 10 deaths and 1,425 new cases of Coronavirus, after conducting 4,762 laboratory tests during the past 24 hours, which is equivalent to 30% of the samples.
In its daily statement, the Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 10 citizens in its hospitals, bringing the number to 712 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Ministry of Health indicated that 1,000 new cases of those infected with Coronavirus have recovered, bringing the total of those recovering to 64,393 cases.
It said that a cumulative total of 8,6004 injured cases, while the number of active cases reached 20,899 cases.
She explained that the total number of cases that need medical care in the hospital is 398, while the total of severe and critical cases is 270.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza continues to provide the vaccine to citizens over the age of fifty, confirming that what was provided is 81,600 doses sufficient for 40,800 citizens, while the number of those who received the vaccine reached about thirty-three thousand.
