The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, today, Friday, that it had recorded 11 deaths and 1,673 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours, after examining 4,638 samples, which constitutes 36% of the number of samples.
In its daily statement, the Ministry of Health confirmed the death of eleven citizens, bringing the number to 661 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
The Ministry of Health indicated that 592 new cases of those infected with Coronavirus have recovered, bringing the total of those recovering to 60,404 cases.
She said that a cumulative total of 78,980 injured, while the number of active cases reached 17915.
She explained that the total number of cases that need medical care in the hospital is 325 cases, while the total of severe and critical cases is 259.
For the second day, the tightening of measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus will continue until Sunday morning, and include preventing the movement of vehicles and preventing night curfews.
