
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, a series of strict measures to confront the high number of HIV infections.
Gaza Interior Ministry spokesman Iyad Al-Bazm announced that the movement of vehicles will be stopped completely from 9 pm tomorrow, Wednesday, until 6:00 am Sunday (April 11), with the work of government institutions suspended during this period.
And in a press release, he announced the closure of all educational institutions, including: schools, universities, and kindergartens, from tomorrow, Wednesday, until further notice.
He stressed the maintenance of the measures previously taken, which are: closing wedding halls, preventing gatherings, closing nightly daily at 9 pm, closing weekly popular markets, and preventing parties and funeral homes in public streets.
He pointed out that the Corona Police Investigation Department will intensify its rounds and follow-up to comply with all sectors and facilities with these measures, while taking punitive deterrent measures in accordance with the law.
The number of people infected with Coronavirus has increased in an unprecedented manner in recent days, and has become close to 40 percent of the samples being examined.
