The Syndicate of Journalists mourned the martyr journalist Yusef Muhammad Abu Hussein, who was martyred this morning, Wednesday, after being targeted by Israeli criminal missiles in his residential apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza.
The Syndicate offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to his family, to the Voice of Al-Aqsa radio station in which he works, and to the journalistic body in general.
The Syndicate stressed that the occupation authorities and its leaders bear full responsibility for this ongoing crime, as it reiterates its emphasis on intensifying its efforts and endeavors to prosecute the occupation leaders for their crimes against journalists, especially their deliberate and documented killing of journalists. Criminals are punished by justice.
The Syndicate saluted all journalists in the fields of work and sites of clash and friction, for their insistence on continuing to carry out their national and professional duties, exposing the crimes of the occupation and presenting them to the public opinion, despite the high prices and bloodshed they pay every day.
The Syndicate of Journalists stressed that all journalists and press institutions adhere to safety measures during field coverage, and affirms adherence to the ethics of the Press Honor Charter, and to be wary of spreaders of rumors aimed at undermining the unity of our people that was embodied in the face of aggression on all land of Palestine.
The Democratic Journalist Association mourned the martyr of al-Haqiqa, the journalist Yusef Abu Hussein, “the correspondent of Sawt al-Aqsa Radio,” who was martyred this morning, Wednesday, May 19, after the Zionist bombing of his home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
