
Israel assassinated, on Tuesday, a prominent leader in the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, by bombing his house on Al-Nafaq Street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
The Israeli bombing led to the martyrdom of the resistance fighter, Iyad Sharir, and wounded a number of other citizens, including a woman.
The occupation army claimed that it had “liquidated the commander of the anti-tank missile system in Hamas – Gaza City.”
In a statement, the occupation declared that it had “targeted the leader of the Hamas anti-armor missile system in Gaza City, Iyad Fatehi Faiq Sherir, who is considered an activist in Hamas and was responsible for carrying out anti-tank missile launches against Israel.”
