The Committee to Support Journalists in Geneva called on the United Nations to implement its words to actions and to provide protection for Palestinian journalists.

The spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, confirmed his refusal to impede the work of journalists under any circumstances, commenting on the targeting and assault of journalists during their coverage of the events of occupied Jerusalem
“We stand against anything that hinders or renders journalists unable to do their work under any circumstances,” Dujarric said.
The Committee to Support Journalists called on the United Nations to translate its statements into actions and provide protection for journalists, especially after the direct shooting of journalists, which resulted in the injury of more than 10 journalists.
She praised the Arab and international donation of intellectuals, artists, athletes, scholars, and international and Islamic international bodies, which expressed their interaction and support for the ongoing aggression against the Palestinians in Jerusalem and Gaza through social media.
