The occupation aircraft launched a series of air raids on the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that the occupation warplanes bombed with several missiles a site belonging to the resistance north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, and also raided a site of the resistance northwest of Gaza City.

It also bombed empty land southeast of Khan Yunis.

The Israeli army spokesman said that the Israeli warplanes bombed rocket-launching sites and military installations belonging to Hamas.

He added that the raids came in response to the launching of incendiary balloons towards the settlements.
Earlier in the night, he said, the IDF Chief of General Staff conducted an assessment of the situation, including a discount on increasing readiness and the army’s assessments of a variety of scenarios, including a resumption of escalation with the Gaza Strip.

He said that the army will continue to push for the destruction of the resistance’s military capabilities and infrastructure in Gaza, blaming Hamas for what is happening in the Gaza Strip.
