Al-Azhar Al-Sharif condemns the decision of the occupation court on the right of Jews to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif condemned in the strongest terms the decision of the Israeli occupation court, which grants Jews the right to pray in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, “which is a flagrant violation and disregard for international conventions and human norms, and a clear provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world.”

Al-Azhar called, in a statement, today, Friday, for the international community to carry out its duties and take all measures against the violations of the Israeli occupation against Palestinian places of worship and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to support our people and support their legitimate struggle towards restoring their usurped rights and their abused land, according to the official news agency (Wafa).

He stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is a purely Islamic symbol, and that the occupation’s attempts to Judaize Jerusalem, including the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, are doomed to failure, stressing that “Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain a purely Islamic sanctuary, and Jerusalem will remain Arab, and the occupation will end, even if after a while
