Hamas has held the Israeli occupation and prison administration fully responsible for the repercussions and consequences of the continued suffering of Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in protest of the administrative detention against them, and the difficult and dangerous conditions of their detention.

In a press statement, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum condemned all attempts and practices of the Israeli prison administration to discourage them from continuing their strike.

Barhoum affirmed that the covenant and loyalty to the prisoners require all the forces, factions, elites and components of our Palestinian people to assume their responsibilities, and to mobilize all efforts and energies to stand behind them, support them with all forms and tools of struggle and struggle, and victory for them, and forcing the occupation to end their suffering.

He called on all human rights, international and humanitarian institutions to leave the square of silence, and to take immediate, serious and effective action to stand by this just cause, and end the suffering of the prisoners, especially the hunger strikers, and all the crimes and violations of the occupation against them.
