The occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque , attacked and besieged the Almoravids and fired rubber bullets, sound bombs and tear gas, injuring a number of worshipers and preventing ambulance crews from reaching the injured before they withdrew.

And the occupation forces arrested a number of people stationed in Al-Aqsa Mosque, including the Jerusalemite journalist Abdel Salam Awad, while he was covering the confrontations.

The occupation forces surrounded the worshipers in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, closed them with metal chains, and prevented the injured from being taken out.



The Red Crescent in Jerusalem said that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque and transporting the injured, noting that 42 injuries were recorded during the confrontations, and 22 of them were transferred to Al-Makassed Hospital.

Journalist Hassan Dabbous was hit by a rubber bullet in the loins while covering the events at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is preparing to commemorate the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, in which tens of thousands participate annually.
