Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, General Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, Chairman of the Supreme Ifta Council, announced that it has been legally proven that Thursday, corresponding to 30/6/2022 AD, is the first of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah for the year 1443 AH, and accordingly it will be on Friday, the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah 1443 AH corresponding to 7/8/2022 AD is the Day of Arafat, and Saturday, the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to July 9, 2022 AD, is the first day of Eid al-Adha.

And he prayed to God Almighty to make it a blessed and good Eid, a blessing and a blessing for Muslims, and to bring it back to us when the land of Isra and Mi’raj was liberated from the oppression of the occupation, according to the official Palestinian Agency.

And (Al Arabiya) channel had reported, this evening, Wednesday, that it was confirmed that the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah was sighted at the Tamir Observatory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The channel indicated, accordingly, that Arafat’s stand will be on Friday, July 8, 2022, while the first day of Eid Al-Adha will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
