Omar Al-Mukhtar Street is the main road in Gaza City as it extends from north to south, branching from
Salah El-Din Street, and extends from the coast of sand and ends at the Gold Market .

The Rashid coastal road extends along the coast of Gaza, linking it to the rest of the coast of the
Gaza Strip in the north and south. Salah al-Din Road, the main highway of the Gaza Strip,
runs through the center of Gaza City and connects it to Deir al-Balah, Khan Yunis, Rafah
in the south, Jabalia and Beit Hanoun in the northern region. The northern crossing of
Salah al-Din Street to Israel is the Erez crossing, and the crossing to Egypt is the Rafah crossing.

Before the siege of the Gaza Strip, there were regular lines of collective taxis to Ramallah
and Hebron in the West Bank. With the exception of private cars, Gaza City is served by taxis and buses. [1]
